In today’s injury roundup, there are a few tidbits of news to be shared. First, Kinglsey Coman appears to have recovered from his muscular problem and participated in the squad’s first team practice in Lisbon in preparation for FC Bayern’s Friday's Champions League match vs Barcelona.
After a scary looking non-contact injury in Bayern’s came versus Chelsea, Jerome Boateng was also involved in team training today in Lisbon. Given how serious the injury initially appeared, it is no doubt great news to see that Boateng is back in training with the squad no worse for wear.

Furthermore, David Alaba was granted a rest day and trained individually. It is essential for Bayern to ensure he remains healthy and rested for Friday’s clash, when he and Alphonso Davies will have the most difficult job on the pitch: stopping Lionel Messi.
Lastly, according to a kicker report, Benjamin Pavard is doing everything in his power to return for the remainder of the Champions League campaign. While he is 100% out of the match against Barcelona on Friday, the anticipation will be for Pavard to resume team training on Saturday, depending on the result. For Bayern to have the best odds of winning the Treble, Pavard needs to return to full fitness at right-back so Kimmich can return to his dominant no. 6 position. All in all, this new bodes well for Bayern in what will arguably be the toughest game of this campaign in any of their competitions.
Bayern are doing everything to get Benjamin Pavard back to full fitness after the quarterfinals if they beat Barça. Pavard is determined to be part of the team participating in the #UCL, will fly to Portugal on Thursday and - ideally - start training on Saturday [Kicker]
