Bayern Munich marched to a big 5-1 win over sixth place Turbine Potsdam on Sunday thanks in part to a hat trick from Linda Dallmann. It’s the twelfth match in a row in the Frauen Bundesliga without a loss. Their last loss occurred all the way back on October 12.

Dallmann opened the scoring in the 17th minute after a quick free kick released her into the penalty area. A quick shot found the back of the net, giving the Bavarians a one goal lead. Five minutes later, it was 2-0 after Sydney Lohmann played a beautiful pass into the space for Jovana Damnjanovic to score a great goal.

It was 3-0 in the 33rd minute after Dallmann scored with a sliding finish from Carolin Simon's low cross. Wasting no time, Bayern grabbed their fourth goal of the match in the 39th minute when Lohmann once again found Dalmann for the goal. The Bavarians went into the halftime break with a massive four goal advantage.

Nina Ehegötz managed to pull one back for Potsdam in the 64th minute after a failed clearance, but that would be the only goal in the day for their efforts. Bayern managed to add one more in the 75th minute when Melanie Leupolz's long ball over the top was settled and scored by Mandy Islacker.

Bayern XI: Benkarth - Hendrich (62. Ilestedt), Wenninger, Demann, Schweers - Lohmann (77. Boye), Magull (46. Leupolz) - Gwinn (62. Islacker), Dallmann, Simon - Damnjanović (46. Beerensteyn)

With four matches remaining in the Frauen Bundesliga season, it looks near-certain that Wolfsburg will win the Bundesliga again this season. However, in the race for the second Champions League spot awarded to Germany, Bayern have maintained their four point lead over Hoffenheim.

The next two matches for the Bavarians are against the two bottom teams in USV Jena and FC Koln.
