It’s been a long, tumultuous, unpredictable season. But this weekend, it all comes to an end for the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich have already clinched the title, but there are many more things to be decided before we officially wrap up this BuLi season.
We have to talk about Fortuna Düsseldorf and Werder Bremen and their fight for the relegation playoff spot. Plus, this is a massive weekend for the 2. Bundesliga with Hamburg SV and 1. FC Heidenheim fighting to try and earn their chance to break into the top flight.
These are all things we discuss in our latest episode:
Today on the podcast:
* After 90 Minutes: Freiburg - It was a calm Bayern Munich 3-1 win over a Freiburg side down on their luck, but the guys talk about what this game meant to the younger players in the squad, some of whom made their debuts for the side.
*We talk about who we think will win the right to fight to stay in the top flight via the Relegation Playoff Spot. Plus, we analyze the 2. Liga, the storylines there, and which teams we’re hoping will get their chance to come up and shine in the top flight of German soccer.
