Days after reports came out that Bayern Munich would be signing 18 year old Tanguy Kouassi from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer, a new report says the Bavarians are also sniffing around another PSG prospect. This time, it’s 17 year old Adil Aouchiche.
The midfielder has been linked with a move away from PSG this summer with Saint-Etienne considered the front-runner; however, with Bayern expressing interest in him, it could very well throw a big wrinkle into everything. Bayern’s interest has them join a list of clubs including Saint-Etienne, Leicester City, Rennes, Bayer Leverkusen, and Lille.
Aouchiche, who has been with PSG’s youth academy since 2014, turns 18 on July 15, so he would be eligible to play upon a possible transfer to Bayern.
RMC Sport reports that Aouchiche recently told Leonardo of his intention to decline their final contract offer and leave PSG this summer, becoming the latest youth product to leave the French capital. One has to wonder about the future of Leonardo and Thomas Tuchel if the club’s most talented young players continue to leave for teams (mostly) in the Bundesliga.
Elsewhere in Paris, Julien Maynard with Telefoot is also reporting that Bayern is also after PSG’s 15 year old prospect El Chadaille Bitshiabu who is considered “one of the most promising defenders” in the club’s academy.
Brazzo is making moves.
