It’s so close you can almost taste it. Bayern Munich are just about to wrap their hands around the Meisterschale for the 29th time in team history. With just one more win under their belt, they’ll have it for the seventh year in a row.

In order to get there, they’ll have to dispatch a Werder Bremen side that has been suffering for goalscoring production ever since their talisman from the previous season, Niklas Fülkrug went down on Matchday 5 back in September. Now, Bremen are fighting relegation as they are tied on points with Fortuna Düsseldorf but behind 16th place by just one goal.

We talk about that battle, as well as more in the latest episode of Der Ausblick:

On this episode, we take a look at SV Werder Bremen who are currently 17th in the Bundesliga with a 7-7-17 record and 28 points. Today, Jake & Chuck recap the last game against Borussia Mönchengladbach and look ahead to this game against a struggling Werder Bremen side that could hand Bayern the title. We ponder why a Werder team, which under normal circumstances is bursting with attacking talent, is underperforming this year. Also, we predict the close battle between Bremen and Dusseldorf for a spot in the relegation playoff with just three games remaining for each team.
