Bayern Munich legend Arjen Robben might be enjoying his retirement, but he clearly still has an itch for the game. The 36-year-old hit the training grounds at Säbener Strasse today for a workout under the watchful eye of Dr. Holger Broich per Bild (behind the Bild+ paywall).
The session, however, was allegedly just for fitness purposes and is not masking a comeback attempt for the Dutchman. Or is it...?

Okay, it’s probably not. Maybe he just wanted to come back and yell at Chris Richards one more time or maybe he just wanted to get out of the house (clearly, he doesn’t need a haircut!). Either way, it probably felt great to revert back to his old life even for a few hours.
There was a time when an unofficial “BFW Underground Movement” was in force to try and convince the superstar to make a move to MLS — specifically to the Philadelphia Union — but those cries fell on deaf ears as Robben began his transition into being the world’s best “Stay at Home Dad Who Can Cut-in to His Left.”
It is sure not a bad life that Robben has, but hasn’t he ever heard that “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia?”
