Dennis Waidner extends contract, promoted to Bayern Munich II

Dennis Waidner has signed a contract extension that will keep him in Munuch through 2022 and has also been promoted full-time from the U19s to Bayern II. The 19 year old fullback made 25 appearances for Martin Demichelis's side property to the COVID-19 break.

Last weekend, Waidner made his debut for Bayern II against Eintracht Braunschweig.

There were reports that 3.Liga side Würzburger Kickers were interested in signing Waidner away from Bayern.

Alexander Nollenberger departs for SpVgg Bayreuth

Alexander Nollenberger has left Bayern Munich II to join SpVgg Bayreuth in the Regionalliga Bayern on a free transfer. Nollenberger only made nine appearances for Bayern II in the 3.Liga this season, and with him having already turned 23, it was time for him to move on from Bayern II.

Bayreuth has continued to improve in recent seasons, moving from the Landesliga into the Bayernliga Nord and now the Regionalliga Bayern. Two years ago, they finished 17th in the league and only managed to stay in the Regionalliga after winning their relegation playoff against a Bayernliga club. Last year, they managed a ninth place finish, and they’re currently in fourth place in the Regionalliga Bayern for the current season.
