Shortly following the confirmed news of the Bundesliga being green lit for the end of may (which we covered here), FC Bayern Munich has apparently already put their plan in motion to get match ready come time for the official start of the Bundesliga in a few weeks. As reported by SportBILD’s Christian Falk, FC Bayern will be moving into a hotel in Munich for at least one week:
Rummenigge confirms; The @FCBayern team moves in a hotel in Munich on Saturday for a training camp and a week's stay @SPORTBILD @BILD_Sport

I, for one, am incredibly excited to see the Bundesliga return and with it some basic sense of “normalcy.” It would appear based on this comment that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and FC Bayern have had a contingency plan ready and waiting for once they received the green light from Chancellor Merkel and the federal government. This plan would allow Bayern players to limit their potential exposure to the novel coronavirus while regaining the necessary match fitness levels needed to resume play for the Bundesliga.
As always, we will keep you updated on any more developments regarding the Bundesliga & FC Bayern.
