It’s such a weird concept that when Bayern Munich plays their first game at Union Berlin’s formidable Stadion an der Alten Försterei, that it will be as empty as the picture above.

Whether or not we agree or disagree with the idea of “geisterspiele”, we can all be thankful for football coming back into our lives in some form. We know the atmosphere will be different and in some cases, wrong, but still, there’s some happiness to be found in live sports returning to us all.

It’s been a while since we did one of these episodes, but here we are!

On this episode, we take a look at 1. FC Union Berlin who are currently 11th in the Bundesliga with a 9-3-13 record and 30 points. Today, Jake and Tom talk about Neven Subotič and his concerns about returning to the game too early. We also look at Union’s attacking options and whether or not the team could consider this season a success by staying up. We also turn our attention to the Bayern injured list as we lose two midfielders, but gain two attackers. Plus, with all of the new substitutions allowed, will we see any new combinations along the backline?
