After rumors surfaced last week, the Bayern Munich Frauen closed the deal and have signed one of Germany’s most dynamic players in SC Freiburg striker Klara Bühl per a release from FCBayern.com. Bühl, a Germany international, is expected to make an immediate impact at Säbener Strasse.
Just 19-years-old, Bühl was called up to Germany’s World Cup squad last summer and has been an absolute force since being promoted. Bühl has 7 international goals in 11 appearances, including a last minute winner against England in a friendly last September.
The youngster, who debuted at 15 years old for SC Freiburg, is eager to begin her new journey with Bayern Munich:
My anticipation is just huge. The change of club brings two exciting challenges for me: firstly, moving out of my parents’ house and secondly, I’m particularly looking forward to the team that has great quality and a lot of individual class.

Bühl is familiar with many of her teammates already and is anticipating a soft landing transition to Munich:
It was definitely the overall package that was decisive here, which is simply outstanding at Bayern. The conditions on campus are excellent, as well as the quality of the team, but of course the city with all its beautiful corners. In addition, I already know many faces from the national team and from my time in Freiburg, which can help with the settling-in period.
