Bayern Munich set to sign Celtic youngster Barry Hepburn (The Scottish Sun)

After signing Liam Morrison last year, it looks like Bayern are set to snatch another youngster away from Celtic Park. According to The Scottish Sun, 16-year-old winger Barry Hepburn is on the German giants’ radar after rejecting a professional contract with the Scottish champions. Bayern are said to be confident of completing the transfer, which would see Hepburn join the U-17’s from next season onward.

This sounds like the kind of deal that has Brazzo’s fingerprints all over it, so it wouldn’t be surprising if it turns out to be true.

Dayot Upamecano’s price could be lowered even further (Bild)

According to what seems like speculation by Bild, Dayot Upamecano has internally signaled that he wants to leave RB Leipzig this summer. The Frenchman has a 60m euro release clause in his contract, but Bayern (or any other club for that matter) might will probably try to get him for a lower amount as he his current deal expires in 2021.

Of course, things are never that easy. With apparently every big club in Europe interested, Upamecano might be one of the hottest prospective signings in the upcoming corona-blighted summer transfer window.

Uli Hoeness backs Manuel Neuer to get a new contract (Bild)

Former Bayern President Uli Hoeness has said he wants club captain to get a new contract, and still thinks he is a best keeper in the world. In addition, he also snuck in a little bit of praise for Alexander Nubel, who desperately needs it right now.

I’d really appreciate it & would be very happy if Manuel Neuer would stay at Bayern for the next few years because he is still the best GK in the world. At the same time, I think the signing of Nübel is 100% correct & a brilliant coup by Hasan Salihamidžić.

And here’s why Hoeness is right (Opta)

Numbers are great.
