Kingsley Coman urges Dayot Upamecano to join Bayern Munich (Foot Mercato)
Dayot Upamecano moved to Austria at the age of 16. He is no stranger to the larger German-speaking world. Now 21 and at RB Leipzig, he is one of the most sought-after center-backs in Europe, but he reportedly wants to stay in Germany.
According to Foot Mercato’s information, Upamecano has a clear preference for Bayern Munich and has “already obtained information” from fellow French internationals about Bayern Munich. Foot Mercato writes,
Kingsley Coman would very much like to see the native of Evreux join him at Bayern.
Upamecano is under contract at Leipzig until 2021 and has a release clause of €58 million.
Barca offers Philippe Coutinho to Chelsea FC (Sky Sports)
It may not be official, but there is zero chance that Bayern Munich will sign Philippe Coutinho to a permanent contract after his fairly lackluster season in Munich. The latest word is that “Chelsea are one of the clubs that have been offered the chance to sign Philippe Coutinho from Barcelona.”
The last time Chelsea saw Coutinho was in February, when he appeared as a second-half sub in Bayern’s 3-0 away win. Sky Sports claims that “while he was in London he told his agent he would be interested in returning to the Premier League.”
Chelsea is shaking up its lineup with several major departures. Time will tell.
Bayern has made the best offer for Ferran Torres (Golsmedia)
Hector Gomez has reported that Bayern Munich has made Valencia CF the best offer for Ferran Torres, a forward who plays primarily on the right wing.
The Allianz Arena team loves the player and has presented a very important proposal to the player in economic terms because they are convinced that he will be a difference-making footballer in the coming years in Europe.
Bayern has supposedly offered Torres €3 million annually. Valencia CF is in a difficult spot, because Torres’ contract expires in 2021. Torres himself knows that Valencia would like to give him a new contract. He supposedly “has always intended to succeed at Mestalla” and even dreams of becoming the captain.

Beckham in talks with Real Madrid for James (GOAL)
Unsurprisingly, Real Madrid would like to sell James Rodriguez before he leaves the club on a free transfer next year. Inter Miami owner David Beckham has apparently gotten in touch with Florentino Perez to discuss signing him. GOAL writes,
Indeed, it is understood that Perez is willing to negotiate for Colombia international James, keeping the door open for the sale of a player who has barely featured under the stewardship of Zinedine Zidane.
Obviously, signing James Rodriguez would be a massive coup for Beckham’s young team, and the MLS would give James an excellent opportunity to showcase his skills.
