Despite recent rumors that he was considering a move elsewhere, Bayern Munich U-17 manager Miroslav Klose and Germany’s all-time leading international goal scorer will join Hansi Flick’s staff as an assistant coach per Sport Bild’s Christian Falk.
While Falk did not quite “flex” on this news, Sport Bild’s reporting on Klose can probably be considered a sure thing after talk of a potential move by the 41-year-old started to heat up last week:
While it is not totally surprising that Klose has made the move from the U-17 squad to the senior team, there was some speculation that he might head to another Bundesliga side to become a senior team assistant coach. The former Bayern Munich striker has become quite a hot commodity in the German coaching community:

By all accounts, Klose has done a phenomenal job with the Bayern Munich U-17 squad. This season the team sits third in the table with 14 wins, four losses, and three draws in the B-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest.
