The Bavarian Podcast Works Show Episode 18 - Running Through Landmines

We discuss the protests across the league, plus Pokal action, the Bavarian Derby, and more!

Oh boy.

It’s almost been one week since Bayern Munich ultras were booed out of Hoffenheim after they used foul language against controversial owner Dietmar Hopp.

Seeing as this is the first full episode of The Bavarian Podcast Works Show since that game, we realized we couldn’t dodge the issue any longer. But, that doesn’t mean we can’t focus on the other great things that have happened since that game:

Today on the podcast:
* After 90 Minutes - Hoffenheim & Schalke: Jake is happy that the Hoffenheim game made up for the lack of goals we saw against Schalke. Tom praises David Wagner for trying his best. And, more importantly, SAARBRÜCKEN IS ALIVE.
* Der Ausblick: Augsburg - Jake doesn’t sound too thrilled ahead of the Bavarian Derby, and Tom is just excited to see the new 120th Anniversary kits.
* Before We Go: In light of this weekends events with the protests in Hoffenheim and throughout the rest of German football, we would be remised if we did not talk about this potential turning point in the sport we love. Jake and Tom both offer their ideas on the banners, Hopp, and how we can move forward.
