The 14-month-old niece of Paderborn forward Streli Mamba passed away on Friday after collapsing during club’s game against Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena, according to a statement released by both clubs.
The girl collapsed in the stadium and, after resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful, was brought to a Munich hospital, both clubs said. But she couldn’t be revived, according to the statements.
Neither statement shed light on the cause of her death.
All of us here at #FCBayern are saddened to learn of the tragic death of a young girl at last night's home game against SC Paderborn. We send our deepest condolences to the girl's family.

Both clubs stated that they were “devastated” and expressed the “deepest sympathy and condolences to the girl’s family.”
Paderborn asked that the family’s privacy be respected and that no further comment would be coming from the club or the family.
Mamba started up top for Paderborn in the game on Friday and was subbed off in the 53rd minute after appearing to pick up an injury. He headed straight for the tunnel after being taken out of the game.
He and his family are in our thoughts at BFW.
