My Probably Bad Take: Chuck needs to grow a Joshua Kimmich mustache

At Bavarian Football Works, we are using this midseason break to expose ourselves (phrasing!). When working on Bayern Munich news and opinions on 24x7x365 basis, the entire staff develops some very good — and some very, very bad — takes. Whether these takes are relevant to past, present, or future opinions, we are going to let you in on some of the stupid things we think as part of a series. Without further ado, BFW will let is all hang out (damn it! phrasing again!).

You’re either for Joshua Kimmich’s mustache or not. There’s really no in-between on this matter. I, for one, am a huge fan and I feel that the mustache just adds to Kimmich’s warrior-esque aura. Opinions are divided on this one, but one thing is for certain, we are all about having fun and tossing banter around at BFW, especially in our slack channel.

When we record episodes of Bavarian Podcast Works, myself, Chuck, and Jake always have hilarious back and forth, and I’m always certain to fire off dad-related jokes Chuck’s way. Recently in our Slack channel, I conjured up a pretty ridiculous discussion about BFW-Bayern player lookalikes and I, of course, went after Chuck first and said that of all BFW staffers, he looks the most like Kimmich, granted a handful of years older (Editor’s note: Maybe a few handfuls of years older). Rest assured, Chuck looks like what Kimmich could potentially look like in the future (Editor’s note: If Kimmich really comes upon hard times), so he needs to get going on this ‘stache!
