Kwasi Okyere Wriedt moved to Willem II last summer, and so far, he is using his opportunity in the Eredivise well.

After a successful spell at FC Bayern Munich II, he agreed to a move to the Dutch side, as a free agent. Willem II Tilburg is struggling this season, and is currently in the 15th spot, out of 18 teams.

The Ghanian striker, however, helped his team end a five-game losing streak. With his goal, Wriedt helped his team to earn a vital draw against Ajax! Wriedt told Goal: “It is a dream for me to play against these kinds of teams. Ajax is the best club in the Netherlands, played in the Champions League. But that is great for our entire team, not just for me.”

Wriedt later commented that he likes it when he has enough time to shoot the ball with his left foot and that his trademark shot is “hard and low.”

Until now, Wriedt only made four appearances for the Dutch side and has scored four goals. The former Bayern Munich striker will try to continue scoring goals after the Christmas break is over in the Netherlands.
