Hello everyone! We have our immediate post-match wrap up of Bayern Munich’s 1-1 draw at Union Berlin. It was a frustrating night for Hansi Flick and company as the Max Kruse-less Union shone quite well for themselves at home. All things considered had it not been for a handful of excellent saves from Manuel Neuer, Bayern could’ve left the Stadion An der Alten Försterei empty handed.
Thank you all for your continued support of Bavarian Podcast Works and be sure to leave us feedback in the comments section or on Twitter with this new, immediate post-match format that we’re trying out.
Yet again, we’re providing you the best audio content by giving you a wrap-up and recap of this most recent match:
Full Time: Union Berlin 1 - Bayern Munich 1 (Prömel 4’, Lewandowski 67’)
- Tom discusses the continued errors in Bayern’s defense with their high lines and wide backs committed to the attack.
- Sloppy, unforced errors are our Achilles heel.
- The introduction of Leroy Sane for Jamal Musiala seemed to inject some life into our attacking prowess, but it still wasn’t enough.
