We’re approaching the final three Bundesliga games of the 2020 calendar year for Bayern Munich. While in general, it was an awful year for everyone, we can take solace in the fact that for us football fans it was an amazing year.
Bayern have one more Englische Woche in them coming up next week. But, for tomorrow, they get to travel up to Köpenick in East Berlin for a fun matchup against Union Berlin:
On this episode, we take a look at 1. FC Union Berlin who are currently 6th in the Bundesliga with a 4-4-2 record and 16 points.
Today, Jake & Tom discuss what is going through Urs Fischer’s head this weekend. They’re down a crucial midfielder in Robert Andrich after a terrible tackle in the Berlin Derby saw him suspended for three games. They’re down an even more crucial player in forward and goalscoring leader Max Kruse. We theorize as to who will replace them.
Plus, after one of Bayern Munich’s best defensive performances of the Champions League, will Hansi Flick change the backline or keep it the same?
