Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is not expected to be ready to play until January, but that is not stopping the 25-year-old from pushing steadily through his rehab. Earlier today, Kimmich was seen running on the training grounds of Säbener Straße for the first time.
In what can only be seen as evidence of his progress, Kimmich is attacking his rehab like we all knew he would:

Back on November 20th, we heard from Kimmich’s surgeon, who sounded very confident that the Germany star would be ready to resume full action in January. Given how ugly the injury appeared to be, the fact that Kimmich looks like he is on schedule to return is a tremendous feat.
With his mentality and surely insane desire to get back on the pitch, it seems like Kimmich is raring to go.
FCBayern.com also released a very brief video (available here) showing Kimmich jogging on the training pitch.
