Inter out on Alaba (Sports Mole)
Apparently the stakes have gotten too high for Inter Milan as the price tag on Bayern Munich’s David Alaba just keeps going up:
Inter Milan are reportedly not in the running for Bayern Munich defender David Alaba. The Austria international has still not penned a new deal at the Allianz Arena, and as it stands, he will be free to discuss terms with foreign clubs at the start of 2021. Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old, who played a key role in Bayern’s treble-winning 2019-20 campaign.
Inter were also mentioned as possible candidates for the versatile defender, but according to Corriere dello Sport, Antonio Conte’s side are not in the running as they cannot afford his substantial wages. Alaba remains a key figure for Bayern, scoring once and providing one assist in 11 appearances this season, and he could yet pen a new contract with the reigning European champions. The nine-time Bundesliga winner is thought to favor a move to Spain over England and France if he does decide to seek pastures new in 2021.

To me, this is a race between Lewandowski and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland. The Great One vs. The Next One if you will.

Bayern interested in Sanchez? (The Hard Tackle)
In a rumor that seemingly (and probably) came out of nowhere, Bayern Munich has been loosely linked to Tottenham Hotspur center-back Davinson Sanchez.
This is perhaps, a bit of a left-of-center option. However, with Bayern Munich likely to be in the market for a center-back soon enough, Sanchez would come off as an economical option for them to consider, compared to someone like a Dayot Upamecano. Not to mention, the reigning Bundesliga champions could yet be forced to sign two, if not one central defenders.

Eriksen to BVB heating up (Transfer Market Web)
For once, Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen is not rumored to be in a swap deal. This time, it’s a straight shot to Borussia Dortmund:
According to latest TMW rumors, Borussia Dortmund management, turned down in latest last window, are planning a new move at Danish international midfielder Christian Eriksen (28). Inter Milan out-of-grace star player is tracked by many more clubs, some A-listers included, all around Europe.
