Bayern Munich Frauen well-represented on list of Germany call-ups

Lina Magull is among the FC Bayern Munich Frauen players called-up to play for Germany.

With an unblemished record in the Frauen-Bundesliga, the FC Bayern Munich Frauen are riding high atop the league standings. In addition to that lofty status, the squad is also well-represented on the list of call-ups for Germany’s national team.

Below, is the list of Frauen players who received the call-up from manager Martina Voss-Tecklenburg:

Defender

  • Marina Hegering

Midfielders/Forwards

  • Klara Bühl
  • Linda Dallmann
  • Sydney Lohmann
  • Lina Magull
  • Lea Schüller

If not for injury, Giulia Gwinn assuredly would have been included as well.

The strong showing of FC Bayern Munich Frauen players is another example of the overall progress the squad has made and the investment that the club has made in its women’s program. Playing a strong brand of football and in an exciting style, the FC Bayern Munich Frauen are taking big steps in formally usurping the title of “top team” in the league from Wolfsburg.

The team took a major step yesterday by downing the reigning champions 4-1 and all things indicate that league title could be on the horizon for this talented group of players.
