Bayern Munich II’s 3.Liga match against SV Meppen was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, but Holger Seitz’s squad found a willing and able opponent in Salzburg-based FC Liefering, which plays in Austria’s 2.Liga.

Bayern Munich II played a 120-minute friendly and picked up a 3-2 victory with Fiete Arp being one of the stars of the contest per FCBayern.com.
First, Arp picked up an assist on a goal by Leon Dajaku in the 10th minute. Just 21 minutes later, Tiago Dantas found Dajaku with a terrific pass, which the 19-year-old forward sent over to Arp for a 2-0 Bayern Munich II lead at the 31-minute mark.
After FC Liefering fought back to tie the game at 2-2 in the 105th minute, Christopher Scott, who typically played for Bayern Munich’s U-19 squad, delivered the game-winner in the 112th minute. Per Bayern Munich’s website, Scott “dribbled a good 20 meters through the opposing defense and scored with a wonderful shot.”
Interestingly, Marc Roca started and played 60 minutes for Bayern Munich II as well today, which was a very curious move. Regardless, Bayern Munich II’s next 3.Liga game will be next Sunday at 1PM (local time) against VfB Lübeck.
