Hertha Berlin goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow is not a fan of playing against Bayern Munich.
Is it because of the Bavarians’ dominant reign over the Bundesliga?
Nope.
Is it because Bayern Munich features the best player in the world: Robert Lewandowski?
Not quite.
Schwolow, it seems, hates to face a squad so organized and led by the always vocal — and probably annoying to play against — Thomas Müller. In fact, Schwolow, described the experience as “nasty.”
“It’s just nasty when you have a Thomas Müller in the center there who steers the boys up front,” said Schwolow to Tz. “It’s simply unpleasant when you play against a team where someone talks so loudly and says: ‘Now we have them. Now we won’t let them out’.”
Schwolow, of course, is talking in reverence of Müller more than criticizing the Raumdeuter. The 28-year-old goalkeeper appreciates the constant drive and effort Müller shows on the pitch, while always keeping Bayern Munich focused.
Now, just to ruin everyone’s day, we’re going to have Janet Jackson stick in your head:
Happy Friday!
