After suffering an ankle injury during international duty with France, Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman has allayed any fears over the severity of the knock by being officially cleared for action per Bild.

Coman reportedly only suffered through a “light hit” on the ankle and told Bild: “It’s not bad.”

That assessment from the player is sure to put the fears of some Bayern Munich fans to rest as the unlucky and oft-injured winger does not appear likely to have any down time as a result of the knock.

France, however, could have used Coman yesterday as it was stunned 2-0 by Finland. Alleged Union Berlin target Marcus Forss and Onni Valakari both scored in the first half to stifle the reigning World Cup champions.

Coman was in-line to start for France, but was replaced by Moussa Sissoko, whose turnover led directly to Forss’ goal in the 28th minute. Just three minutes later, Valakari added his goal to deliver a knockout blow to Les Bleus.
