Per FCBayern.com, Bayern Munich II’s next 3.Liga match against SV Meppen has been postponed. The fixture was set to take place on Sunday November 5th at 1:00PM local time at Grünwalder Stadium.
SV Meppen has endured a coronavirus outbreak with seven people associated with the squad testing positive. As a result, the entire SV Meppen team, as well as the trainer and support team, must remain quarantined until November 17th as ordered by the local health department.

After nine match days, Bayern Munich II is in ninth place of 3.Liga with three wins, three draws and three losses. Last Saturday, Holger Seitz’s squad lost 2-1 at 1. FC Magdeburg. The team, however, has had to endure an incredible amount of roster movement, rarely ever having the same gameday unit for back-to-back fixtures.
As the squad continues to meld, we could see the same type of progress over the course of the season as we did last season when Sebastian Hoeneß led the team to the top of the table.
