Per a report from Tz, having a little over a year with no Ribery at Säbener Straße was just too long for the Bayern Munich brass. But no, Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidžić did not strike yet another last minute deal. There was no move for Franck Ribery, but another player from that family as Seif Ribery will join the Bayern Munich youth academy’s U-10 team.

That is some long-term strategic vision! Seif will become the third Ribery to don a Bayern Munich kit along with his dad and also his uncle, Steeven, who once played for the U-19 team and Bayern II. Steeven is currently a free agent per Transfermarkt.
At 37, Franck is still going strong in Serie A. Through two games, the Bayern Munich legend has two assists. Anyway, it is no secret that Franck Ribery has a strong affection for Munich and has hinted in the past that he considers the city to be “home.” It has to be a fun and proud moment for Franck to see his son begin his own journey in football. One has to wonder if Franck will be ready soon to make the transition to retirement, so he can spend more time in watching Seif play and enjoying the rest of his family.
The only disappointment here is that Michaël Cuisance has already left Bavaria. He could have made a sick hype video for Seif!
Anyway, good luck, Seif!
