The arrival of Marc Roca at Bayern Munich effectively sealed off any hope that Adrian Fein would be able to break into the first team this season in Bavaria.
Fein, who has reportedly failed to impress Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick, will no longer be needed with another more accomplished defensive midfielder in house. While PSV Eindhoven is linked strongly to the skilled 21-year-old, Valencia has made a late charge in hopes of a move per Tz reporter Manuel Bonke:
Neben PSV #Eindhoven ist auch der spanische Erstligist FC #Valencia an einem Transfer von #FCBayern-Youngster Adrian #Fein interessiert. Durch die Verpflichtung von Marco #Roca wird es für Fein schwer, Einsätze bei den Profis zu erhalten. #FCBTransfersommer

In addition to PSV #Eindhoven the Spanish first division club FC #Valencia is also interested in a transfer of #FCBayern Youngster Adrian #Fein. With Marco #Roca ’s commitment, it will be difficult for Fein to get work with the professionals. #FCBTransfersummer
It is rumored that any move for Fein will be a loan assignment.
BFW Analysis
For Fein, any a change of scenery would be good at this stage given that he is now buried on the Bayern Munich depth chart. Fein was previously linked to both Hertha Berlin and Arminia Bielefeld, but the field seems narrowed to PSV Eindhoven and latecomer Valencia.
Surely, this is disappointing for Fein, who many had high hopes for this season. While not considered a contender to push incumbents Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, and Thomas Muller, many Bayern Munich fans and pundits though Fein would prove to be a valuable depth piece, who could provide defensive stability in the midfield when called upon.
That assessment may eventually prove to be true this season, but it likely will not be with Bayern Munich.
