Adrian Fein could be heading out on another loan this season, according to Sky. With the reported addition of Marc Roca from Espanyol near completion, there may not be space in the midfield for the young player, and a season-long loan would likely be the best situation for both parties.
The report from Sky says that Bundesliga clubs Hertha Berlin and Arminia Bielefeld along with Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven have expressed interest in bringing in Fein. Even though PSV have reached the Group Stage of the Europa League, consistent matches in the Bundesliga would allow Bayern to judge whether Fein could contribute long-term at the club or if they should move on from him.
Fein spent the entire 2019/20 season on loan with Hamburg in the 2.Bundesliga, and before his injury, he was rated as the league’s second best defensive midfielder in Kicker’s rankings.
Whatever happens with Fein, Bayern have only a few days to sort it out.
