This is it everyone. Time for the “Bayern Munich Title Defense World Tour 2020: COVID is so 2019” to begin!

Now we have to face all of the best teams in Europe in order to keep the “cup with the big ears” in Bavaria. In short, we have to face Die Meister. Die Besten. Les grandes equipes. The CHAAAAAAAAAAAAMPIOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNS

To help us out with this, we are joined by a former Sports Illustrated writer and a new face of the UCL on CBS Sports HQ: Luis Miguel Echegaray. For those who like to listen to more than just our podcast, be sure to check out the new offering from Luis and CBS Sports: ¡Que Golazo! You can find it here.

Just as a heads up, we’ve decided to cover each group in the order of which they will appear over the next two days.

This means we start with the Tuesday groups of Group E (Sevilla, Stade Rennais, Chelsea, Krasnodar), Group F (Zenit St. Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund, Lazio, Club Brugge), Group G (Juventus, Barcelona, Dynamo Kyiv, Ferencvaros) and Group H (Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, Istanbul Basaksehir).

Then we will move on to the Wednesday groups of Group D (Ajax, Atalanta, Midtjylland, Liverpool), Group C (Manchester City, Porto, Olympique Marseille, Olympiacos), Group B (Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Internazionale Milan, Borussia Mönchengladbach) and finally Group A (Bayern, Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg, Lokomotiv Moscow).

As always, thank you for the support! Be sure to rate us, like us, subscribe to us, and follow us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and anywhere else you get your quality audio content.
