Giulia Gwinn updates on knee injury

After tearing her ACL during Germany’s match against Ireland, Giulia Gwinn disappeared from social media for a bit as she dealt with the aftermath of the injury. She has reemerged, however, with an update on her injury and where things stand.

Gwinn went to Dr. Christian Fink who was the same doctor who operated on the knees of three players on the Bayern men’s team — Niklas Sule, Leroy Sane, and Lucas Hernandez.

Despite the set back, Gwinn is ready to move forward: “From now on it’s important to look ahead and do everything possible to be back on the field as quickly as possible.”
