Arsenal submit €15 million bid for Boateng

The North London outfit is having a disappointing season so far, with the team looking completely out of sorts (but that isn’t specific to this season anyways), but the arrival of Mikel Arteta at the helm has brought some sense of purpose. The club looks to sign a centre-back in the winter transfer window to shore up its leaky defense, and Bayern Munich’s Jerome Boateng has been identified as their prime target, with sources from Germany, according to Deutsche Welle reporting a bid in the region of 15 million euros.

Sure, you can have Boateng, and Alaba too, if you like, because Bayern have way too many fit centre-backs right now, right? I mean... I’m sure Lewandowski and Perisic can deputize...

Juventus sign Kulusevski for €35 million

What do you do when a league rival has one of the hottest winger prospects in the world? You splash the money and sign him, of course! The 19-year-old, who has 4 goals and 7 assists in 19 games this season, is one of the main factors behind Atalanta’s resurgence and their reaching the UCL round of 16 this season, and was bound to move to one of the big clubs, with many top European clubs sniffing his exit round the corner. Juventus were first to pounce, and they will be very happy with what looks to be a great move. They already have 5 wingers, but who cares?!! Can you ever have enough wingers?

Bayern join the race for Jadon Sancho’s signature

According to Britain’s very trusted Metro, Bayern Munich are in the mix for the purchase of coveted youngster Jadon Sancho, who has been a revelation since joining Dortmund and recently came runner-up in the race to be Europe’s “Golden Boy.” The winger would be a dream signing for every club in Europe, and after reports of a falling out with the Dortmund coach and players in November and the club’s turbulent turn of results of late, a move elsewhere isn’t very remote.

The star is evaluated at a whopping price tag of €100 million (minimum), with the actual fee demanded closer to 130 million. That is not to say he is worth the money, however, as the club that lands him will have insured its wing position for the next decade.

If Sancho does pick Bayern though, that would mean a no to Sané, wouldn’t it? Or would it? All aboard the Mia ‘San’ Mia hype train!

Paco Alcacer wants out

Borussia Dortmund recently stole the headlines for its swift, smart acquisition of RB Salzburg’s hitman Erling Håaland for a steal of a price (€20 million, with bonuses). There is always a price to pay with such eye-catchy transfers however, as striker Paco Alcacer now reportedly wants to leave the club in search of greener pastures (Sky Sports). The Spaniard was a revelation last season, but has failed to meet expectations this season, and now finds himself looking inside from the out.

If, as sources suggest, he chooses to move to the PL, there will definitely be no shortage of suitors for his services.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic unveiled to AC Milan fans

The legendary Swede, whose new jersey number is 21, is sure to get the shirt sales rolling, although it remains to be seen whether he’ll get them goals rolling too.
