Let’s all take a step back and laugh at Manchester United
This may not be very very relevant to fans of Bayern Munich, but it is sure to brighten up your day. Man United just lost to 13th placed Burnley in the Premier League, prompting even more anguished cries of despair from the Theater of Sadness that is Old Trafford.
Here’s a glimpse into what’s going on:
Chants of "We want United back" swiftly followed by "Stand up if you hate Glazers". The majority of Old Trafford is on its feet

The scale of Manchester City’s FFP breaches revealed (The Guardian)
Judging by the righteous fury from City fans on twitter last summer when Bayern made a move for Leroy Sane, you’d get the impression that they were the most innocent little club in the world. Of course, that was a load of sanctimonious nonsense, as the extent of City’s financial cheating is only just starting to come to light:
Manchester City were found to have made inadmissible submissions to Uefa over financial fair play in 2014 and were reported for not making their bank statements available, the Guardian can reveal.
City’s submissions for the 2012 and 2013 financial years were questioned in relation to £118.75m in sponsorships from companies in Abu Dhabi, the home state of the club’s owner, and their accounting methods over transfer fees and the formation of two new companies were rejected.
Almost £60m was added to the club’s losses by the European game’s governing body as a result of findings relating to accounting methods, the Guardian’s investigation can reveal.

It’s a big boost to have one of Germany’s most exciting youth talents join Bayern II to help out in the 3.Liga. Kühn, who is on loan to Bayern from Ajax, is already on Germany’s U20 team. He undoubtedly wants to make a strong impression, too.
Happy Birthday Arjen Robben!
Bayern legend Arjen Robben turns 36 today, and the Bayern English twitter account put out a neat little tribute video.
