This week’s training slate for Bayern Munich forward Fiete Arp and midfielder Michaël Cuisance has seen the two youngster tied at the hip.
On Tuesday, the duo had a semi-private training session with veteran center-back Jerome Boateng, while on Wednesday the twosome took part in a joint session with Bayern Munich II and FC Bayern U-19 teams respectively.
Today, Arp and Cuisance spent the morning with Bayern Munich assistant coach Hansi Flick working on passing, shooting, and headers before playing football golf against the coaches. Arp was happy to get the opportunity to get such a hands-on experience in lieu of an actual team training environment:
This period is a fantastic chance to take another step forward. It’s important for Michaël and me in particular. Michaël has been here for a very short time, and I was out of action due to illness recently
As for Cuisance, his primary goal is to stay in top shape until his teammates return:
I want to use this time to be in ideal shape when the lads return from their national teams.
Both players should be ready to continue their fight for playing time next week upon the rest of the team’s arrival back in Bavaria.
