Bayern Munich Frauen international break recap

How did the Bayern Munich Frauen players do on the international break with their respective nations?

Bayern Munich Frauen saw thirteen players called up to their respective national teams during this international break. How’d they all do?


Germany: Laura Benkarth, Giulia Gwinn, Kathrin Hendrich, Verena Schweers, Carolin Simon, Linda Dallmann, Melanie Leupolz, Lina Magull

Germany pulled out two enormous victories over Montenegro (10-0) and Ukraine (8-0). Unfortunately for Bayern, Melanie Leupolz pulled out prior to the games with an injury, and Carolin Simon left shortly after joining camp.

Lina Magull started both games and scored once, while Linda Dallmann came on as a second half sub in each match, scoring one goal. Giulia Gwinn started both matches. Laura Benkarth, Kathrin Hendrich, and Verena Schweers did not play in either match.


Slovakia: Dominika Skorvankova

Slovakia lost their one Euro 2021 Qualifying match in this break, 0-1, to Iceland. Dominika Skorvankova went the full 90 in the midfield for Slovakia.


Austria: Carina Wenninger

Carina Wenninger played every minute of Austria’s 3-0 victory over North Macedonia in Euro 2021 Qualifying.


Sweden: Amanda Ilestedt

Amanda Ilestedt went the full 90 minutes and scored a goal to help Sweden beat Latvia 4-1 in their Euro 2021 Qualifier.


Netherlands: Lineth Beerensteyn

The Netherlands picked up two big qualifying wins over the break, 7-0 over Estonia and 3-0 over Turkey. Lineth Beerensteyn played the full 90 in both games and drew a penalty against Turkey
