Wriedt opened the goalscoring in just the 4th minute. Sarpreet Singh played a simple ball into space for Wriedt to run onto. The big forward dribbled into the Münster box and slid the ball past the goalkeeper and into the back of the net to give Bayern the 1-0 lead.
Eight minutes later, Bayern made it 2-0. Again, it was Singh who sprang the attack from the midfield. His long pass down the flank put Leon Dejaku into space. He crossed the ball into the penalty area Oliver Batista Meier met the ball with a solid finish for his second goal of the season.
Wriedt grabbed his brace in the 32nd minute. Singh passed the ball to Wriedt just inside the penalty area. Wriedt let the ball run across his body before taking a touch and rifling a shot just inside the near post to give Bayern a commanding 3-0 lead.
Just before halftime, Wriedt effectively ended the match with his third goal of the game and Bayern’s fourth. Singh found a streaking Maximilian Welzmüller in the center of the park. He first-timed a pass into the penalty area to Wriedt, who took a touch and finished to give Bayern a commanding 4-0 halftime lead.
Münster pulled one back in the 82nd minute when Rufat Dadashov got onto the end of a free kick and poked the ball past Christian Früchtl and into the back of the net. However, Bayern nearly responded immediately when Derrick Köhn found Joshua Zirzkee in the penalty. Unfortunately, his shot clanged off the near post and nothing came of it.
