Updates on Goretzka and Alaba (kicker)
Leon Goretzka’s return to team training is at least four more weeks away per kicker. The news is not so grim for David Alaba, however. Alaba, who returned to team training yesterday, could see time against SC Paderborn this weekend in hopes of shaking off enough rest to face Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday October 1st:
Leon Goretzka’s stitches were removed after the midfielder had a hemorrhage in his thigh surgically removed. The former Schalker will have four weeks to go until he can train with his teammates again.
David Alaba, on the other hand, is much further along. On Saturday at SC Paderborn, the Austrian is most likely to get a few minutes of action again.
The Goretzka injury sure seems far worse than originally thought.

Eintracht to host training camp in the U.S. (@eintracht_us)
Eintracht Frankfurt will return to the United States in January for training camp and then will face-off with Hertha Berlin in a friendly at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. As Fredi Bobic told Eintracht.de:
We saw last winter that Florida is an ideal place for our preparations. We want to soak up the spirit and fitness that we acquired there again this year, and at the same time we’re really looking forward to the match against Hertha. This tour also forms part of our international activities in the USA, and will again prove that we are a great ambassador for the Bundesliga.
Did you know . . . ?

Zlatan doing Zlatan things (@ESPNFC)
LA Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic seems to have one “view worthy” action per week. Here is what we have:

Also, it looks like Boca Juniors might be considering bringing in Zlatan as well (per Transfer Market Web):
While possibly letting Carlos Tevez go, Boca Juniors management, according to AS, has just been offered Swedish star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Turning 38 next week, on October 3rd, former AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Ajax, Barcelona FC , Manchester United and PSG hitman, unless extending, is leaving Los Angeles Galaxy after the end of December, and is seemingly relishing the chance to join Xeneizes, and play side by side with old-time pitch rival Daniele De Rossi.
