Bayern Munich won the first leg of their Round of 32 matchup with Göteborg FC 2-1 in Sweden. Now, with the return leg at the Bayern Campus, the Bavarians have the opportunity to advance to the Round of 16 as they look to repeat and top last season’s Semifinal appearance.

Mandy Islacker scored a brace in the first leg, and the forward has been on fire in recent weeks. With Melanie Leupolz pulling the strings from the midfield, Bayern will be targeting a big win in their first home game in the 2019-20 Champions League.

Head coach Jens Scheuer is going to be without Carolin Simon as the defender continues to recover from her injury. However, he can count on Amanda Ilestedt’s return to the side following her absence at the weekend against Sand.

An hour before Bayern kick off, Wolfsburg host the second leg of their Round of 32 match against KFF Mitrovica from Kosovo. Wolfsburg won the first leg 10-0. You can watch that here.

It’s Bayern time.
