Report casts doubt on Havertz move to Bayern being a sure thing (Abendzeitung)
Citing a report from kicker, Abendzeitung reported that a move by Bayer Leverkusen star attacking midfielder Kai Havertz to Bayern Munich is not imminent. In addition to the laundry list of top European clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Juventus, Bundesliga power Borussia Dortmund is developing a strategy to offset a potential loss of Jadon Sancho by making a run at Havertz.
We’ve riffed on this topic previously and now it looks like that speculation could have some merit. Meanwhile, Manchester United’s interest is sparking even more per Transfer Market Web:
Tracked by Borussia Dortmund and Juventus already, German international attacking midfielder Kai Havertz (20), according to latest rumors, has been targeted by Manchester United as well. Bayer Leverkusen might sign their main star over next summer, on an about 90 million euros exit fee.
Bayern might exercise option on Perisic (Calciomercato)
Ivan Perisic has been phenomenal with Bayern Munich so far and apparently the club has seen enough that it is ready to trigger the option to buy him from Inter Milan:
According to the latest reports from Germany, Bayern Munich are very satisfied with the performances of the Inter loanee Ivan Perisic. Therefore, they are preparing to exercise the Croatian’s €20m buy-out clause at the end of the season, although there are many games left until then.
Perisic has two goals and two assists in four games across all competitions so far this season.
Cuisance’s goal was terrific (@eMiaSanMia)
If you missed Phillip Quinn’s recap of Bayern II’s win over Ingolstadt, go check it out. One of the highlights from the win for the reserves was this crafty little goal from Michaël Cuisance:

Ribery gets first goal with new squad (@acffiorentina)
Bayern Munich legend Franck Ribery scored his first goal for Fiorentina in the team’s 2-2 draw with Atalanta. The video in the tweet is only his celebration (stupid geo-locks have prevented dropping the full video in):

Leipzig extends Gulacsi (kicker)
RB Leipzig has extended the contract of goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi through 2023. This is significant because RB Leipzig was considered one of the primary contenders to bring in Schalke 04 and Germany youth international Alexander Nübel. Nübel, of course, has been heavily linked to Bayern Munich. Gulacsi, meanwhile was allegedly considering a move to the Premier League before extending his deal.

Maybe Pulisic should have stayed in Germany? (@usmntonly)
Christian Pulisic might be the man for the United States, but Chelsea coach Frank Lampard does not seem to be in any rush to play the 21-year-old regularly as he tried to sort out his roster:

The line-up will not get any easier to crack once Callum Hudson-Odoi is fully back in the rotation as well. Hopefully Lampard can sort himself out as giving a young talent like Pulisic consistent field time is going to be extremely vital to his development.
