Mandy Islacker scored twice to lead Bayern Munich past SC Sand 5-0 in the Frauen Bundesliga. The other goals were scored by Linda Dallmann, Jovana Damnjanovic, and Nicole Rosler.

Bayern got started early in this one, with Linda Dallmann kicking things off with her goal in the 12th minute. Islacker brought down a long ball over the top and played in Dallmann with a simple cross. All that was left was the finish, and Dallmann wasn’t missing from there. However, Bayern was made to wait until the second half before their second goal came.

Islacker grabbed her first goal just before the hour mark after being played in behind the backline by Damnjanovic. She finished through the Sand’s goalkeeper’s hands to make it 2-0. Damnjanovic would make it 3-0 in the 68th minute.

Rolser pounced on a ball sent through the Sand defense and grabbed her first Bundesliga goal of the season in the 86th minute. Then, Islacker made it 5-0 in the 89th minute with a tidy finish from the center of the penalty area.

Islacker has been on a tear since Bayern returned form the recent international break. With six goals in the last four matches, she’s been instrumental in the Bavarians’s success so far this season.

On Wednesday, Bayern will host Goteberg in the second leg of their Round of 32 tie in the UEFA Champions League. Then, at the weekend, Duisburg come to the Bayern Campus for a Frauen Bundesliga match.
