For those of you Bayern Munich fans who’ve been listening to the podcast for a while (first of all, thank you!), you’ve kinda become familiar with our format on our flagship show The Bavarian Podcast Works Show.
We cover what happened (After 90 Minutes), what could happen (Der Ausblick), answer your questions (#AskBPW), react to funny/rediculous news (The Newsroom) and discuss one topic at length (Before We Go). Usually, we don’t do all of these, but some combination of four segments in each episode.
While this does make sure you get the most content possible, it’s also a lot to take in. Our last episode totaled 53 minutes long, which has always been a number we’ve been trying to get down. We’ve tried many different things, but after I had a small epiphany/daydream in the middle of a class (the wonders of ADHD), we’ve come to this decision.
In all future episodes of The BPW Show we won’t be doing a Der Ausblick segment. Instead, we are spinning it off into its own show with the same title.
This kills two birds with one stone. On one hand, it brings our BPW segments down to three (A90 + two others) which will hopefully bring our total run time down to the 30-40 minute mark. On the other, we now get the chance to bring you more content we hope you will love.
This will also change our output schedule. Each episode of The Bavarian Podcast Works Show will be put out on Tuesday or Wednesday, with each episode of Der Ausblick coming out the day before each game.
So, be on the lookout tomorrow morning for our first episode of Der Ausblick, and let us know what you think!
