Bavarian Loan Works: Adrian Fein, HSV win again; Franck Evina, KFC stay in relegation zone

Hamburg looks like the team to beat in the 2.Bundesliga this season. Down in the 3.Liga, KFC Uerdingen look like they could have a fight for survival on their hands.

Adrian Fein — Hamburg — 2.Bundesliga

Another week in the 2.Bundesliga and another win for Hamburg. Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Hannover 96 marks the fourth in five games for Hamburg as they sit atop the 2.Bundesliga table.

Fein went the full distance for Hamburg in the middle of the park, in front of 54,000+ spectators at the Volksparkstadion, and he led Hamburg in passing percentage. At this point, he’s a guaranteed 90 minutes for them in the middle of the park, and as long as he can keep the injury bug away from him this season, Fein will likely remain that.

Franck Evina — KFC Uerdingen — 3.Liga

Franck Evina started out wide left in a 4-2-3-1; however, he moved up top to the striker position after an early substitute due to an injury to Adriano Grimaldi. Evina had a few good opportunities, but it his the free kick that he drew that KFC finally capitalized on in the 53rd minute. But, it wasn’t enough for Uerdingen, as they conceded two goals in the final eighteen minutes to give Eintracht Braunschweig the win. Braunschweig remain top of the table, but Uerdingen sit in the relegation zone on six points after seven games.
