Yesterday, Germany released its roster for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers, which offered a list of players that many expected to see. Today, however, Die Mannschaft released the squad’s jersey numbers.
There were not any real surprises as to the assignments, but first-timer Luca Waldschmidt from SC Freiburg will wear #19, which has typically been the jersey number of Manchester City’s Leroy Sane. This will be Waldschmidt’s first stint with the senior-team:

The last set of jersey numbers from June is detailed in the graphic below. Obviously, there has not been a ton of movement:

The biggest change really was Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz changing from #23 to #7 as Paris Saint-Germain’s Julian Draxler is injured and was not selected. Also, FC Koln’s Jonas Hector took his normal #3 back with Paris Saint-Germain’s Thilo Kehrer out with an injury.
The Bayern Munich contingent stayed static with Manuel Neuer (#1), Joshua Kimmich (#6), Niklas Süle (#15), Leon Goretzka (#18), and Serge Gnabry (#20) all keeping the same digits.
