Mandzukic still wants a move to Bayern (@NicoSchira)

Italian journalist Nicolo Schira is reporting that Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic still would like to return to Bayern Munich. Mandzukic has been linked to the Bavarians throughout the summer, but rumors have shifted back-and-forth on whether or not Bayern Munich wants to bring the 33-year-old back in the fold.

Per Schira, Sevilla and FC Barcelona are also interested, while Borussia Dortmund is also keeping an eye on Mandzukic:

#Juventus works to find accommodation for Mario #Mandzukic: Paratici offered him to #Barcelona for (Juan) Miranda, but the Croatian would like to return to #BayernMunchen. #Sevilla has come back to life and in the background there is still the option #BorussiaDortmund. #calciomercato

Draxler on his way out of Paris (Transfer Market Web)

While the dumpster fire that is Paris Saint-Germain burns, it looks like Julian Draxler could on his way out the door:

According to latest French news, almost 26-year-old German international attacking midfielder/winger Julian Draxler, playing for PSG since January 2017, might still be leaving Ligue 1 giants. Former Wolfsburg and Schalke star, inquired by Juventus, is currently on a deal with PSG until June 2021.

Juventus is listed as a possible destination, but one has to wonder if Bayern Munich would not kick the tires on the Germany international. Draxler was on Bayern Munich wish-list as recently as June. Regardless, a move back to the Bundesliga would probably do Draxler well.

PSG is currently missing Neymar (possible transfer-induced holdout), Kylian Mbappe (injury), and Edinson Cavani (injury), while former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel seems to be under a bit of heat himself.

Perhaps, a Draxler-for-Jerome Boateng swap...hmmm. I have no idea how Draxler would fit in the midfield logjam, but there was least some prior interest. Still, I can’t see Bayern making a move for the 26-year-old given how many midfielders are currently on the roster.

ICYMI: Havertz = beast (@Bundesliga_EN)

We covered Bayern’s inquiry into Bayer Leverkusen ace Kai Havertz yesterday and while you probably did not need to be reminded that Havertz is outstanding, this little video might remove any doubt you have:

PSG eyeing Zaha as Neymar replacement (Transfer Market Web)

Bayern Munich was linked to Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha earlier in the summer, but now he is viewed as a contingency plan should Neymar bolt Paris Saint-Germain:

While Neymar’s move out from PSG might still happen, either by a wild return to Barcelona FC, or a transfer to other main side of Spain, Real Madrid, French club, that being the case, are reportedly planning to go even 3-figure on Ivorian international winger/forward Wilfried Zaha (26). Crystal Palace, throughout latest PL summer window, turned down both Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham on their main star.

As noted above, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur were also rumored to have interest in Zaha.

Sanches announcement wasn’t exactly picture perfect (Instagram — @losclive)

When Lille announced the arrival of Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich, the team’s marketing department and public relations staff probably had about 5,000 announcements and welcome messages to write and design for social media and the press. Unfortunately, sometimes minor details get missed.

Like my man Renato suddenly has my legs:

It happens.

Nothing like the sight of Mateo Messi sitting with his old man and Luis Suarez as he decides to cheer on a goal by Real Betis:

United scoping Fernandes with Bayern in attendance (Stretty News)

Manchester United scouts were in Portugal this weekend scouting Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes. Bayern Munich scouts were also in attendance, but it is unclear if the Bavarians were also scoping Fernandes or if they had their eyes on another player:

Manchester United may reportedly still be eyeing up a future move for Sporting Lisbon playmaker Bruno Fernandes. The Portugal international had another fine game last weekend as he set up three goals for his club, while United struggled to break down Crystal Palace at Old Trafford and lost 2-1.

And now there’s another spark to indicate interest from United, as per O Jogo, with Sport Witness translating the report. It claims that Fernandes was scouted by the Red Devils during the recent outing. The report adds that other clubs such as Chelsea, Leicester City, Bayern Munich and Sevilla were present at the game too, though it’s unclear if they were all watching the same player.

Another report linking Bayern to Camavinga (Transfer Market Web)

We covered the rumor last week that Bayern Munich had interest in Eduardo Camavinga, but now we are seeing it again — only this time, Borussia Dortmund is also listed as having interest in the Stade Rennais F.C. youngster:

Angolan 2002-born central midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who had his deal with Stade Rennais extended until June 2022 just last August 15, has allegedly been targeted by both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Of course, the original report was refuted by Falk Master Flex, but maybe things are progressing?
