Roca-to-Bayern reports heating up (@menzellopez)
TZ and AS reporter J.C. Menzel López gave some insight on the resurgence of interest from Bayern Munich in Espanyol defensive midfielder Marc Roca. Yesterday, we detailed how Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were both mulling an offer to Espanyol for the 22-year-old, but there could be a legitimate move in the works for the Bavarians.
A transfer, however, might not happen until Espanyol finishes its Europa League qualifier against Zorya Luhansk on August 29th:
Nach Renatos Abgang hat Roca wieder Priorität beim FCB. Espanyol will weiterhin 40M, die Bayern nach Renatos Verkauf aber zahlen würde. Laut Rocas Umfeld dürfte sich alles noch bis zum EL-Rückspiel in Luhansk ziehen. Roca und Bayern seien sich aber einig.#FCBayern #S04FCB #Roca

After Renato leaving, Roca is again a priority at FCB. Espanyol still wants 40M, but Bayern would pay that after Renato’s sale. According to Roca’s camp, everything is likely to drag on until the EL return leg in Luhansk. Roca and Bayern are in agreement, however. #FCBayern #S04FCB #Roca
Neymar saga nearing an end? (@GuillemBalague)
Paris Saint-Germain has reportedly asked for best-and-final offers from FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Juventus for Neymar according to BBC and AS reporter Guillem Balague. A new twist to this saga is that Neymar’s relationship between PSG is allegedly improving:
Barcelona AND Real Madrid have been asked to put a final offer before midday today. Juventus also in the equation.

The latest twist: in the last few days the relationship between #Neymar, his father/representative and #PSG has improved dramatically (in a VERY positive way) pic.twitter.com/E4RZo1nO1R
Yesterday, we detailed some of the ludicrous offers that Barca and Madrid made for Neymar, but check this one out as well: Gareth Bale and Luka Jovic for Neymar. PSG said “No” — which would not have mattered since Bale won’t make the move to Paris anyway. Meanwhile, PSG has asked for Vinicius, but Real Madrid is unwilling to send him off:
Real willing to offer Bale (but he doesn't want to go) and Jovic, but PSG only want Vinicius (and Real don't want to let him go)

Real saying they are not talking to PSG... But they are big time!
Barcelona pushing hard as they feel Neymar getting away
Barca turns down loan approach for Vidal (Daily Mail)
FC Barcelona has turned down a loan offer from Inter Milan for Arturo Vidal. Per the Daily Mail, Barca would rather sell Vidal to help generate funds to use to buy Neymar:
Barcelona have rejected a loan offer from Inter Milan for Arturo Vidal, according to reports to Spain. Inter have shown a keen interest in the Chilean midfielder all summer but have had their efforts to bring him in on a season-long loan knocked back by the Spanish champions, who bought him for £27million from Bayern Munich last August. According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona would prefer to sell Vidal and recoup as much of the £27m which would then be used towards bringing Neymar back to Camp Nou this summer.
Before Lille, Sanches had other suitors (@altobelli13)
The news broke earlier that the rumored Renato Sanches-to-Lille deal was about to get done. Sanches, however, did have options to stay in the Bundesliga as both Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim had interest in the 22-year-old:
Auch Leverkusen und Hoffenheim waren im Sommer an Renato Sanches interessiert. Der schloss jedoch einen Wechsel innerhalb der Liga aus. Nun steht ein Transfer zu Lille wohl bevor. Für beide Seiten wohl die sinnvollste Lösung. #fcbayern #sanches @SPORTBILD @BILD_Bayern https://t.co/jHWw5mysoE

Leverkusen and Hoffenheim were also interested in Renato Sanches in the summer. However, he ruled out a transfer within the league. Now a transfer to Lille is imminent. For both sides probably the most sensible solution. #fcbayern #sanches @SPORTBILD @BILD_Bayern
Regardless, Sanches looks headed to Lille where he can hopefully (for his sake) revive his career a bit. Later in his life Sanches will probably look back at his time in Munich and wish he handled things a little bit differently. Perhaps a little more focus and a more mature approach would have served him well, but at least he will have the chance for a new opportunity and a fresh start in France.
Falk flexes Sané-in-winter rumor (@cfbayern)
Bild reporter Christian Falk reiterated that Bayern Munich will make a play for Manchester City winger and Germany international Leroy Sane this winter:

ICYMI: Bayern could be ready to explode in the 2020 transfer market (Bavarian Football Works)
It appears as if we can add Schalke 04 goalkeeper Alexander Nübel to the list of players Bayern Munich is going to chase next summer that already has RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner, Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz, and Manchester City’s Leroy Sane on it.
We’ve labeled it #ProjectBavarianMayhem2020 and have now updated our graphic:
