Welcome, Liam! FC Bayern signs Scottish junior national player Liam Morrison.
Speaking about the signing, FC Bayern Campus Director Jochen Sauer stated,
Liam had many offers from well-known European clubs. We are very happy that he chose us. He is a robust, physically strong defender who also brings a lot of quality to the game.
Morrison is not expected to join the first team of FC Bayern but rather will be joining the academy at presumably either the U-16 or U-17 team. He has risen through the ranks at each level of Scotland’s youth teams and already has 17 international caps for Scotland at those levels.
Liam said, “I’m incredibly excited to soon be wearing the jersey of this great club.”
Liam will thus continue his development at Bayern. In a few years we may see Liam playing for some of the more senior Bayern teams.
