According to Tutto Juve, Mario Mandzukic has rejected a transfer to Spanish club Sevilla. Mandzukic reportedly would prefer to return to Bavaria instead on a loan very similar to what Bayern Munich and Inter Milan agreed for fellow Croatian Ivan Perisic.

Per the report, Mandzukic and Bayern are eyeing a similar structure for this proposed transfer:
According to the information of our editorial team, the problem is connected to the price tag. Bayern has supposedly made an offer of a loan with a fixed purchase option.
The interesting aspect of this deal would be the fact that this report claims that FC Bayern approached Mario and Juventus, which would suggest that they are rather serious about investing in their depth.
Truthfully, given how this transfer window has been going for Bayern and their stars’ constant comments about the need for reinforcements, this could be a very effective signing if the price is right. Mandzukic would not only guarantee depth at striker but also assist in keeping our star number 9 healthy.
Robert Lewandowski: "I think we still need 3 players. Even If Sané comes, we need another winger. We lost 3 attacking players in Ribéry, Robben & James, and so far we have not signed a single experienced player there. Maybe also a number 6 or an attacking midfielder" [SportBild] pic.twitter.com/z9VNJe5mcv— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) August 7, 2019
