U19s beat Augsburg to kick off Bundesliga campaign (FCBayern.de)
Martin Demichelis’ men opened the A-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest season with a big 3-2 win over Augsburg. With Bayern II being off this weekend, both Leon Dajaku and Flavius Daniliuc started for the U19s, and as luck would have it, both players scored goals. Torben Rhein was out of this one due to injury.
After first half that saw both side botch multiple chances, Augsburg grabbed the first goal after halftime though Tim Civeja. For twenty minutes, Bayern pressed looking for an equalizer, and it finally came with the go ahead goal shortly thereafter. Dajaku and Flavius scored in the 76th and 78th minute to put FCB up 2-1.
In the 84th minute, Augsburg found the 2-2 leveler through Aivin Emini. But, two minutes later, Bayern substitute Marvin Cuni came through big and grabbed the winner to see Bayern to their first win of the season.

U17s beat Greuther Furth in Bundesliga opener (FCBayern.de)
Miroslav Klose rolled out a new 3-2-4-1 formation due to injuries and suspensions for the B-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest opener for Bayern’s U17 team. After a wide open first half for both teams, Bayern opened the second half on an absolute tear, scoring three goals in the first ten minutes of the second half to essentially end the game. They held on for a 3-1 win.
Angelo Bruckner scored the opener for Bayern just after halftime in the 41st minute, and Nemanja Motika added two more goals in the 48th and 50th minutes. Robin Lein pulled a goal back for Furth in the 52nd minute, but that was all Furth could manage.
Next weekend, Bayern will travel to play Eintracht Frankfurt.
Lineup: Barakat – Brückner, Denk, Brekner – Krätzig (80. Happi Monthe), Neziri – Aitamer (75. Salihamidzic), Wenig, Vidovic (66. Fust), Motika – Mamedova (75. Madougou)
Bayern II Frauen win 2.Bundesliga opener
Bayern II kicked off their campaign to defend their 2.Bundesliga Frauen championship with a big 4-1 win over FFC Frankfurt II on Sunday. The goals were scored by Jana Kappes, Gia Corley, Emilie Bernhardt, and Laura Donhauser.
While Corley and Donhauser were promoted to the first team this summer, it’ll be interesting to see if the two 17 year olds spend some time with FCB II in order to get more minutes which won’t come as easy with the first team.
Anja Pfluger and Kristin Kogel spent most of the summer training with the first team as well. Leonie Koster and Donhauser were away with Germany’s U19s at the European Championship as well.
Bayern XI: Grohs - Bernhardt, Kappes, Weiss - Koster, Kogel, Woldmann, Pfluger, Donhauser - Corley, Weber
