Report: Sane open to Bayern Munich (90min.com)

According to 90min.com, Manchester City’s Leroy Sane will choose Bayern Munich over the Citizens.

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane is open to leaving the club to join Bayern Munich this summer, 90min has learned. Sane made only 21 Premier League starts for the English champions last season, with the form of Raheem Sterling from Sane’s position on the left hand side impacting the German international’s status in the team.

Per the report above, Manchester City will be looking for at least €80 million in exchange for Sane.

My stance remains the same on this: Let’s all wait until we see something official from the player or either team. This could be a wild week of rumors (and nonsense).

Bayern closing in on Chievo starlet? (Calciomercato)

Bayern Munich is allegedly close to making a signing. Per reports out of Italy, the Bavarians are close to procuring Chievo’s 18-year-old winger Emanuel Vignato.

Decisive days for the future of Chievo’s Emanuel Vignato is getting closer as has a tough call to make about whether to play next season. The 18-year-old is being linked with a move away to local clubs but German giants Bayern Munich remain in a pole position to sing the highly-rated midfielder.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport, the current German champions are ready to offer €9 million for the player who has made 14 appearances for the Italy U18 side. However, the problem for Vignato is that his brother Samuele who has not yet turned 16 and therefore cannot move abroad. Therefore, the only two options for Vignato is to either stay for another year or move to Munich with his family.

Juventus, Sampdoria, AC Milan, Inter Milan, and Napoli are also allegedly high on the young winger, who can shift between the left and right flanks, and also play as an attacking midfielder/second striker. Here is a video detailing some of Vignato’s best work:

Szoboszlai might be headed to Serie A (Transfer Market Web)

RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai has been linked to Bayern Munich multiple times over the past year, but now it looks like Lazio is getting serious with the 18-year-old phenom.

According to Il Messaggero, Lazio management, not fully up to on pursuing Yusuf Yazici from Trabzonspor, are now approaching Hungarian international midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai (18). Red Bull Salzburg are not supposed to give up easily on their 2000-born wonderkid, recently inquired by Juventus and Real Madrid as well.

Ajax extends Tadic (@AFCAjax)

Dusan Tadic was linked with Bayern Munich earlier this year, but the skilled and versatile forward won’t be leaving Ajax any time soon as he signed an extension through the 2025-2026 season.

Cancelo draws three power clubs (Calciomercato)

Juventus defender Joao Cancelo has three major teams looking to bring him in. Specifically, the 25-year-old has Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, and Manchester City are all interested, with the Bavarians considered to be the front-runners.

The future of Joao Cancelo seems rather distant from Juventus. The Portuguese player is determined to relaunch himself elsewhere after a season of ups and downs with the Bianconeri. Currently, there are three clubs ready to compete for him: Manchester City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. The Bavarians seem to be in pole position. Now it remains to be understood if the 60 million requested by the Old Lady to let the player go will be paid out.

Football Italia, however, captured a report that Manchester City has upped its offer to €55 million, which could even out any offer made by Bayern Munich.

Manchester City have reportedly raised their bid for Joao Cancelo to €55m as Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is happy for the right-back to leave. Links between City and Cancelo had cooled in recent weeks, but Gazzetta dello Sport maintains the deal is still on.

As per the newspaper, the English champions have offered €50m plus €5m in ‘easy-to-reach’ bonuses. However, it is warned they will not advance in negotiations until Danilo is sold. That could let in Bayern Munich, according to Corriere di Torino, which assures Sarri will not stand in the way of the 25-year-old. The publication explains the new boss wants a right-back with better defensive capabilities.

This news is yet another rumor that I don’t get. I’m taking a hard pass on Cancelo.

Khedira considering MLS? (Transfer Market Web)

Juventus might be looking to part ways with former Germany international Sami Khedira. Interestingly, Khedira might make a move to Major League Soccer.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Sami Khedira can leave Juventus during this summer. The former player of Real Madrid has just recovered from an arthroscopic cleaning of his right knee, could be tempted to move to Major League Soccer. Juventus would get free from a salary of €6m a year, and the would be agree to let him leave.

Donis considered to replace Rebic (kicker)

Should Eintracht Frankfurt’s Ante Rebic bolt for Atlético Madrid, Die Adler is looking at VfB Stuttgart’s Anastasios Donis as a potential replacement.

Following the departure of Luka Jovic to Real Madrid, Eintracht Frankfurt currently has four players to replace the Serb: Sebastian Haller, Goncalo Paciencia, Ante Rebic and Dejan Joveljic. Rebic, however, is still associated with Atletico Madrid, a stay on the Main is therefore still open. With Stuttgart Anastasios Donis Eintracht already had a possible successor for Rebic on the slip, currently this track is apparently cold again. His exemption clause at VfB over 15 million euros has passed on June 30th, now he would have significantly cheaper to have.

Don’t do it.

Please don’t incite them.

Trying to stop myself (ah, damn): Reports do not indicate if Donis is ingrained with the coveted “scumbag gene.”

Lovren getting close to a move (Transfer Market Web)

Liverpool center-back Dejan Lovren might be getting close to a move to AC Milan.

AC Milan are allegedly still working on Croatian international center-back Dejan Lovren. Liverpool long-timer, who just turned 30, is set to be on his way out on about 18 million euros fee, after having won Champions League as a Reds member, and agree a 4-year deal with Rossoneri.

Lovren was linked to Bayern just about a week-and-a-half ago.

Neymar is sitting out (GianlucaDiMarzio.com)

The situation between Paris Saint-Germain and Neymar might be coming to a head if you believe reports.

After more than a month of vacation PSG returns to training with the aim of preparing the next season in the best way and waiting for reinforcements that the current transfer market session could give to the same Parisian club. And speaking of transfers, everyone was present at the team meeting, except for ... Neymar Junior. “Paris Saint Germain found that the footballer Neymar Junior did not find himself at the place and time of the team’s meeting, and this without having been given a permit by the company. The club takes note of this behavior and announces that he will take the appropriate measures,” the PSG communicated by means of an official note.
