While Bayern Munich has had a relatively slow start in their dealings in the transfer market, the preparations for the current roster started this morning. Forty days after the last match in Lindau, Thomas Müller, Thiago, Jérôme Boateng, Javi Martínez, Corentin Tolisso, Renato Sanches and Christian Früchtl returned to the performance center at Säbener Straße. Newly signed striker Fiete Arp was also present. Welcomed by Niko Kovac, his brother Robert, and the new assistant coach Hansi Flick, the stars kicked off preparations with routine performance tests.

In a video posted by FC Bayern TV, the fans could see the Bayern players perform various exercises for endurance, speed, and bounce tests, as well as weight measurements and blood and movement analyses.

Being a busy day on the campus, at the time of writing, Lucas Hernandez is being presented in a joint press conference with CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The record signing did not join his teammates in the preparations, as he is still waiting to fully recover from his knee surgery.

In addition to today’s video, there will be another training session for the players starting at 5 pm (11 am ET) on the Säbener Straße pitch, which will be streamed live on FC Bayern TV and will be freely accessible to all fans.
